About Kiki’s Full Spectrum Doula Services

Hello!

My name’s Kiah and I am the chef and owner of Wilde Thyme, and co-owner of Our Time Kitchen. I became a doula in 2020, training with Ancient Song Doula. I had a desire to work more directly one on one with humans, something that was missing in my food truck work. Doula work has been a way for me to weave together my love of care work, cooking, herbalism, and reproductive justice. I have continued my education with Ancient Song Doula over the last few years through additional one-off trainings to further my knowledge of lactation, LGBTQ+ healthcare, medical bias, postpartum nutrition, trauma informed support, and the pelvic floor. I also took a 6-week course with Divine Birth Wisdom called “Grandma’s Hands Pregnancy and Postpartum Herbs & Nutrition in the Southern Tradition” that gave me practical skills at turning food and herbs into daily medicine to support reproductive health.

I am taking clients for my full spectrum work listed above. If you are interested in learning more about these services e-mail me to set up a time for a free 15 minute consult!

“I received two doula meals when I was two weeks postpartum. It was so wonderful to have nutritious meals that were customized with my physical needs in mind (and my husband’s!). We received so much support after our baby was home from the hospital with meals being brought to us from friends/family and money donated for take-out. While that support was greatly appreciated, the meals weren’t always the healthiest. The doula meals were conveniently organized/packaged and nourishing – just what we needed to help prepare us for sleepless evenings with our newborn. This is such a great idea and I hope more new moms and dads gets to enjoy this service!”
